A new workshop on Laser Cutter Technologies designed for the NEWTON project at Fab Lab Madrid CEU  have been carried out on June 28, 2018 . It has been focused on the use of laser cutter technologies applied to STEAM courses. This technology has been used as a support tool to fabricate a small-scale architectural model using a hands-on approach.

High School students were invited on campus and carried out the workshop in the Fab Lab. This was during class time; students were introduced to a range of staff including lecturers, PhD students and technical support staff. It has the added bonus of exposing students to the university environment and access to equipment that would otherwise have been unavailable.
