Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STUBA) is a modern educational and scientific institution (www.stuba.sk). Since its foundation in the year 1937 more than 150.000 students have graduated. In average, 19.000 students study at the STUBA every year. At present, the STUBA consists of seven faculties. Two of them provide education in the area of ICT: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (FEI STUBA) and Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies (FIIT STUBA). The research activities in the field of ICT at FEI STUBA and FIIT STUBA are focused mainly on the following topics: Network architectures (NGN, IPTV, Future Networks, Software Defined Networks, Network Functions Virtualisation, Content Delivery Networks (CDN), Cloud Computing, Future Internet, HbbTV architectures, Satellite Communications, etc.), protocols, traffic control, multimedia services/applications, Information and  network security, multimedia processing (speech and image), Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Multimodal Interface, Software Engineering, Big Data, e/m-learning platforms  based on modern ICT, Providing e/m-learning on-line courses, etc. STUBA has strong international research and educational relationships and cooperation within European projects and other activities. The STUBA research team involved in this proposed NEWTON project, has a long term research and educational cooperation in the area devoted to the project with universities and industrial partners within research and educational project not only within European space.
